Misurata elders and notables say Ganfudah is enduring the same atrocities as Syria’s Aleppo
The Misurata Elders and Notables Council has issued a statement condemning the crimes committed by Khalifa Haftar’s Dignity Operation forces in Ganfudah on Tuesday killing two families and injuring a number of other civilians, let alone the destruction of the people’s houses.
“Haftar and the foieign countries that support him continue to bomb civilian houses in Ganfudah, Bnghazi, in the same way Assad and Russia are bombing Aleppo in Syria.” The council reaffirmed.
“Ganfudah’s women, children and elders have been all targeted by Haftar’s warplanes and other foreign warplanes in his support, just like what is happening in Syria’s Aleppo.” The statement reads.
The Misurata elders and notables council added that Haftar’s attacks on civilians in Ganfudah is nothing but a flagrant assault on civilians and a systematic killing of the innocent, adding that the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord takes full legal and ethical responsibility for this issue.
