Tunisia proposes a Pan-Arab initiative to resolve Libya’s crisis
Tunisia’s ambassador in the Arab League, Najib Al-Munif, proposed an initiative at the end of the 146th Arab League summit that aims to boost the Arab League’s role in resolving the Libyan political crisis by sending in a ministerial committee to sit and resolve the rift between Libyan conflicting parties.
Al-Munif added on Tuesday that this initiative will be sent to the coming up meetings of the foreign ministers for more discussion and chances of implementation.
“We also discussed situations in Libya, Yemen and Syria and we confirmed that all the issues and conflicts in there must be solved though dialogue and accord under the support of the Arab League.
