Cash arrives in Sabha after situations got very dire
The spokesman of the Sabha Municipality, Adel Ben Salma, said cash money sent from the Tripoli-based Central Bank of Libya arrived on Tuesday in Sabha.
Ben Salma told Press Solidarity that Sabha Central Bank will be tasked to distribute the money to the city’s banks starting next week.
“I don’t want to say how much money was sent by the CBL for security reasons.” The spokesman added.
Sabha’s banks have been plunged into acute shortage of cash for months now, which made difficult for the residents to lead a normal life and provide for their families.
