With boiling heat and power outage, Libyans resort to “power generators”
Everywhere you go in Tripoli’s streets the one and only pervasive you hear is that of engines burning fuel to produce electric power for the houses, shops and mosques in the country, which is one of the richest in oil resources.
Not only you hear the sounds, but you hear them loud and clear. The sounds of generators dominate the market, the roads, the buildings and the nooks not only in Tripoli but also in all over Libya as the power is cut for more than 10 hours a day on a daily basis.
People in Libya started using these generators to keep their lives going and their work going as long hours of power outage affect both work and other living conditions for every single house in the country.
