Algeria releases seven Libyans arrested for entering territory illegally
The Algerian authorities released seven Libyan nationals after they had arrested them earlier for entering the Algerian territory illegally via borders with Libya’s Ghadames city.
A source from Ghadames Security Department reported that the release order came from the President of Algeria as part of Eid El-Fitr amnesty in Algeria.
The source, who did not mention his name, told Libyan News that Ghadames Security Department had formed a committee, which received the freed Libyans from the Algerian authorities and then took them to their families.
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Interior Affairs in Libya has ordered the formation of the committee to better coordinate with the Algerian authorities regarding the reception of the seven released Libyan nationals.
