Benghazi Defense Brigades seize Sultan district, western Benghazi
Benghazi Defense Brigades have gained control of Sultan district, which is situated between Benghazi and Ajdabia cities in eastern Libya, sources close to the brigades confirmed.
The sources added that the brigades also controlled Al-Jeldaya checkpoint , some 70 km away from Benghazi, pointing out that the brigades seized an armoured vehicle, a tank, and ammunition.
However, Dignity Operation (Karama) forces refuted the control of Benghazi Defense Brigades on both Sultan and Al-Jeldaya, saying they thwarted the attack.
Moreover, a footage for Wanees Abu Khamada, the Commander of Al-Saiqa Forces in Benghazi, shows him greeting “the air eagles” for bombing Benghazi Defense Brigades in Sultan district and Al-Jeldaya checkpoint.
