Protest in Al-Zawiya over recent clashes in the city
A number of people demonstrated in a peaceful protest against the recent clashes that took place on Monday and Tuesday in the city and called on all the armed factions in the city to save the residents any kind of bloodshed.
Earlier, clashes took place in both Jamal Abdulnaser and Omar Al-Mukhtar streets in downtown Al-Zawiya, which caused the residents to panic and leave their housed until the clashes came to an end.
Some people were displaced temporarily, some others were injured, and yet others had their houses affected by the heavy and medium weapons, which were used by the clashing factions, well-informed sources told the Libyan News.
