Al-Ahli beat by Morocco’s Kawkab Marackesh 2-1 at CAF Confederation Cup
The Libyan Al-Ahli club, based in Tripoli, lost the match to Kawkab Marackesh from Morocco 1-2 on Tuesday at Al-Shadily Zuwaitin stadium in Tunisia.
This loss is the second in a row for Al-Ahli in the play-offs round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Moroccan team scored first from a penalty and then Al-Ahli draw with a penalty as well, yet in the second half the Moroccan team scored the second goal at the minute 69 to win the match and secure the top position in the group, leaving Al-Ahli at the bottom with no points.
