Tripoli’s CBL refutes issuing a statement banning use of banknotes printed in Russia
The media spokesman of the Central Bank of Libya in Tripoli, Esam Al-Oul, refuted issuing a statement by the CBL banning the use of the banknotes printed in Russia.
In Wednesday, Al-Oul told the press that the CBL’s Governor, Al-Siddeeq Al-Kabeer, will hold a presser Thursday to talk about the issue of the banknotes.
Yesterday, media outlets and social media posted a statement attributed to the Tripoli-based CBL saying the use of the banknotes printed in Russia by Bayda-based parallel CBL is banned will not be legal.
