30 foreign countries’ embassies to return to Libya soon, FM says
The Foreign Minister of the Government of National Accord (GNA) in Libya, Mohammed Sayala announced Sunday that 30 foreign countries’ embassies will return to Tripoli after over three years of shutdown.
Xinhua reported that Sayala said that the GNA is in talks with the US Department of State and is trying to assure it of security in Tripoli so it can return its embassy to the Libyan capital.
“We are trying to have all the embassies returned to Tripoli and to provide them with the needed security measures so they can work safely from the capital.” Sayala added.
