14018 registered to vote in future elections
The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) said number of eligible voters registered to the voters registration system reached 14018, on Sunday morning.
Of the 14018 registered voters are, 9320 men and 4698 women, said the HNEC in a statement posted on its Facebook page, on Sunday.
The commission issued resolution No. 5800 for the year 2017 on the process of registering and updating the voter register, which comes as part of the HNEC’s increased efforts toward possible elections in 2018.
The HNEC has set up 219 electoral centers, as part of the expansion plan, bringing the total to 1888 center.
