Libya celebrates seventh anniversary of February 17 revolution
Libyans mark today the seventh anniversary of February 17 revolution that broke out in 2011 and ousted the regime of the 42-yeard old reign of Moamar Gaddafi, who was also killed in the same year.
Thousands of Libyans took to public squares to celebrate and wave the flag of the Libyan free state amid events and fireworks scheduled for the night celebrations in all major cities in the country, such as Tripoli, Misurata, Al-Zawiya, Al-Khumus, Zlitin, Gharyan and others.
The celebrations are held amid events such as popular songs, national anthem, popular dancing and other events organized by the Libyan Commission for February Revolution Celebration.
