Al-Sweihli and Peter Millett urge Salvation Government to leave peacefully
The Head of the High Council of State, Abdel Rahman Al-Sweihli, has revealed that there are some efforts being exerted by a group of notables and elders to convince the “ones who stormed the High Council of State’s headquarters” to withdraw from the HQ peacefully.
In a meeting with the British Ambassador, Peter Millett in Tripoli, Al-Sweihli called on the international community to take a clear and decisive stance against the hardliners who are hindering the implementation of the political agreement so that Libya can be stable and secure.
On the other hand, Peter Millett called on the General National Congress and its Salvation Government backed by the Presidential Guard forces to go out of the High Council of State’s HQ peacefully so that they don’t entice more violence and bring destruction to the capital.
