Al-Nabaa TV building partly damaged after attack by armed groups
Heavy clashes erupted around 2.am Sunday in front of the headquarters of Al-Nabaa TV in Zanata area, Tripoli between an attacking armed group and the security group that is protecting the channel.
Eyewitnesses said that the attacking armed group used heavy and medium weapons in its assault on the TV building and was met with resistance by the security force of the TV, which left the building with great materialdamage.
The attack aims at shutting down Al-Nabaa TV because it reopened last night after being closed since Wednesday by pro-Al-Serraj armed groups, media activists say.
