11 of Dignity Operation forces killed in clashes in Benghazi
11 fighters affiliated with Khalifa Haftar-led Dignity Operation forces were killed and almost 5 others were injured due to clashes with the Benghazi Shura Council revolutionaries, a source from Dignity Operation reported.
The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Al-Jalaa Hospital in Benghazi received 5 bodies while Benghazi Medical Center received 6 others and five injuries from the so-called Dignity Operation.
Clashes between Benghazi Shura Council and Dignity Operation forces have been going on for more than two years since it started on May 2014, in an attempt by Khalifa Haftar to eradicate what he describes as “terrorists” from the city, and hence destroying most of the city’s houses, killing a huge number of its residents and displacing thousands of others.
